How many items are in Binding of Isaac: Rebirth? ›

Rebirth has a total of 341 items. Afterbirth added 95 new items, for a total of 436 items. Afterbirth † added 111 new items, for a total of 547 items.

Item quality is a hidden item mechanic added in The Binding of Isaac: Repentance, assigned to all items. The quality ranges from 0 to 4 and causes them to behave differently with certain items or automatically get rerolled if certain conditions are met.

Unlockables can be gained through doing various tasks, such as destroying enough Poop, beating a chapter for the first time, or defeating a boss in a specific way.
